Pre-Facial Care (24–48 Hours Before)

    •    Avoid exfoliation: No scrubs, acids (AHAs/BHAs), or retinol.

    •    Pause active skincare: Avoid Retin-A, tretinoin, or harsh actives.

    •    Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water for best results.

    •    Avoid sun exposure: No tanning or direct sun — skin should not be sunburned.

    •    Let your esthetician know if you’re using any acne medications (like Accutane), or if you’ve had recent injectables or chemical peels.

    •    Come with a clean face: No makeup, if possible.

Post-Facial Care (24–72 Hours After)

    •    Skip makeup for at least 24 hours to allow your skin to fully absorb all professional grade skincare.

    •    Avoid heat and sweat: No saunas, steam rooms, or intense workouts.

    •    No exfoliation or actives (retinol, acids, acne treatments) for at least 3 days.

    •    Avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen daily.

    •    Don’t pick or touch your face — let your skin heal naturally.

    •    Hydrate and moisturize well.

Waxing Clients

Pre-Waxing Care (24–48 Hours Before)

    •    Let the hair grow: Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).

    •    Gently exfoliate the area a day before to help prevent ingrown hairs.

    •    Avoid lotions or oils on the day of your appointment.

    •    Avoid tanning or sun exposure before your appointment.

    •    Take a pain reliever (optional) about 30 minutes before if you’re concerned about discomfort.

    •    Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment.

Post-Waxing Care (24–72 Hours After)

    •    No hot showers, saunas, or sweating for 24 hours.

    •    Avoid tight clothing to reduce irritation.

    •    No exfoliating, scrubbing, or shaving the waxed area for at least 48 hours.

    •    Avoid sun exposure — the skin is more sensitive and can burn easily.

    •    Apply a soothing lotion like aloe vera or a post-wax balm to calm the skin.

    •    Start gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs.

    •    Avoid touching or picking at the area.
